WordPress Custom Menus
Navigation menus in WordPress are controlled by site administrators, and configured via Appearance > Menus in the Dashboard.

Navigation Best Practices
Boise State WordPress sites should feature three custom menus by default. Additional menus can be added as required.
- Local Nav
- Related Content
- External Links
- Your site’s Home page should be at the top of the Local Nav
- A “Contact” menu item should be at the bottom of the Local Nav
- A subsite should be created if a section requires a different navigation
