SFTP Configuration
Boise State University requires an SFTP file transfer client to use with non-WordPress websites on Office of Information Technology web servers.
Some college web servers may have different requirements.
SFTP Client Settings
SFTP Sites on the WP3 server require the following connection settings.
- Host or Server Name: wp3.boisestate.edu
- Username: Your BroncoWeb Username (e.g., johnsmith) (Note: the auth daemon is currently case sensitive so it may be JohnSmith. This restriction is in the works to be fixed.)
- Password: Your BroncoWeb Password
- Directory: /sitename/sitename.boisestate.edu (e.g., /biology/biology.boisestate.edu)
- Port: 22 (or “SFTP” selected as the connection type)
